Case: Crystalverse
Project Background:
The main objective of the Crystalverse project was to develop a metaverse that integrates the elements of meditation, healing experiences, and higher consciousness knowledge in a 3D immersive environment. The mission was to create a Metaverse-as-a-Service (MaaS) interactive multiplayer metaverse platform integrated with scanned real-life crystals, blockchain, and connected to a wide range of third-party services. Crystalverse caters to the virtual and augmented reality industry, specifically the metaverse market.
Business Challenge:
The business challenge was to create an innovative and next-gen 3D immersive environment for meditations, energetic healing experiences, and gaining higher consciousness knowledge. The target audience consisted of individuals seeking new prospects in their online social life and belonging to a broad spectrum of demographic groups.
Services Provided:
Services included Metaverse Conceptualisation, Metaverse PoC and Prototyping, Metaverse 3D Modeling, Assets Optimisation, Sound Effects Editing, Storyline Integration, Quest Development, and Assets Scanning Procedure Optimisation.
Technical Information:
Our team relied on the Unreal Engine 5 technology and its plugins and features, along with photogrammetry for asset scanning and Vivox integration for voice chatting. The project took 15 months to complete and was supported on a weekly basis.
Functional Requirements:
The functional requirements of the project include a multiplayer mode, socialising, exploration, and voice chat features, as well as the ability to import 3D models in FBX and GLTF formats.
Approach and Solution:
Our approach included the discovery phase, UI/UX design, core architecture, and crystal scanning research and tests. The solution was to develop Crystalverse in Unreal Engine 5, combining socialising and exploration mechanics with NFT trading inside a 3D environment.
Our team developed a 3D virtual environment with NFT crystals, integrated with crypto wallets, and developed the main storyline and quest for users' involvement. The buyer and seller functionality was integrated with the WEB client Marketplace and UE client Opensea integration.
Value Delivered:
By the end of the project, our team delivered a customised metaverse stacked with features, multiplayer mode, voice chat, the ability to add custom music for meditation practices, buying and selling economy features, and more.

The Crystalverse platform offers the opportunity for the client to grow its community inside the virtual world, benefit from transaction commissions and token sales, rent digital spaces and microservices, and participate in events such as meditating sessions and community meetings.
Value for the End-User:
The end-user can socialise, buy NFTs, demonstrate them in a social network context, experience higher consciousness in virtual reality, and purchase crystals through stores in a 3D environment. The user can also learn about crystals and other arts, expand themselves through quests and missions, participate in expansive meditations and energetic healing experiences, and gain higher consciousness knowledge while being a part of a positive community.
